You're probably aware to some degree of the major trends at play for spring and summer 2019 already. And by the time March rolls around, we'll have hammered them into your permanent memory. So, while we'd like to dive right into the spring trends coming down the pipeline, the reality is that you won't be able to wear them for a few more months, so we figured we'd bring you something a little more practical—the trends we've seen everywhere so far this year (yes, we know we're only 17 days in).
Ahead, get an up-close and personal look at the most hyped-up fashion items of 2019. Between loads of bold colors and pearl-adorned everything, there's more than enough wearable trends in here for you to start spending your money on, stat.
PEARL ADORNED EVERYTHING
Between all the trending pearl jewelry and hair accessories, I'd say we've hit a peak with the pearl trend. Sure, pearls can run a little sweet, but that's exactly what makes them so fun to wear.
HUE SATURATION
Just because it's technically freezing outside doesn't mean we can't start tapping into the spring 2019 trends just a little early, starting with highly saturated hues. Grab the brightest sweater and trousers you own, toss them on and off you go. Done and done!
OVER-THE-TOP SOLES
Apparently, 2019 is all about a great pair of straight-leg denim and heels that scream "Party Time". What you wear on top is up to you, but Instagramming the heck out of your bottom half is now a must.
BLAZER NATION
The blazer trend has been going strong for a few seasons now, and if you thought 2019 was going to bring a halt to this item, boy you'd be very, very wrong. You can wear a blazer over a trash bag and still look like you’re ready for business. What's not to love?
SEEING SATIN
Synonymous with poofy ballgowns and bridesmaid dresses, this woven, shiny fabric can vary from a heavier duchess satin to a thinner, almost-crinkled looking crepe style. As our love for the '90s and all its trends continues to grow, it's clearly no great wonder why satin is back in town.
