Crystal clear skies, powder white snow, long boozy lunches…who doesn’t love a little ski getaway?
Sure, typically you head to the slopes for the aforementioned fresh powder and long runs, but lately, ski towns such as Aspen and Park City have turned into quite the sartorial scenes—home to the occasional Kardashian and It-girl alike. When hitting the slopes, it can be hard to balance functionality and fashion. Sure, we're well acquainted with snow bunny style—the warmest jackets, the coziest sweaters—but how do you continue looking chic even after stowing your skis?
The goal is to plan around peel-off friendly performance layers that don’t require a hotel pit stop for an outfit change. For ski bunnies who have no intention of putting on skis, a Fair Isle knit is prime for lounging around the lodge.
