The Pull: Upgrading Your Wardrobe with Keren Eldad
Kelli Conway • 08/17/2017
Dubbed “the luxury coach” by Elite Traveler, NYC-based life coach Keren Eldad has been helping companies, brands, and people from all walks of life reach their full potential with her signature 'WITH ENTHUSIASM' programs. In addition to coaching, Keren has presided at the top of marketing teams for various brands and magazines including IWC Schaffhausen and Surface. Not surprisingly, her coaching style is heavily inspired by the affinity for luxury—so we caught up with Keren on the wardrobe pieces that will have you vibrating at the luxury level.
WTF does it mean to vibrate at the luxury level, you ask? Coach Keren explains...
“In a nutshell, upgrading your look (or upgrading anything in your life) is all about energy. The higher the effort you put into your appearance, the higher impact outwardly in your life—from your career to your personal relationships. Your appearance makes a big difference on how others perceive you, at least initially."
The reason being that clothes communicate two things: effort and stature.
So stop thinking, "I don’t have time to dress up," or "I can’t afford that." Instead, reach higher, and think creatively about what you can do given your time, money, and inclination.

1. BE BOLD
"Nothing sticks in the brain and creates a more memorable impression than the color red (as you can see with these gorgeous, elegant pieces). Weave just one into your ensemble, and voilà! Extra credit? It's the perfect color for dates. In my online coaching program, Date With Enthusiasm—7 Weeks To Soulmate, I teach you how to hack confidence. Let’s just say red helps."

2. BE INTERESTING
"Women always look at accessories. When they are interesting and different, they are distinct. Therefore, go for accessories that are not just utilitarian or popular, but also stand out from the crowd. If you ever attend a meeting with me wearing either of these items, I won’t forget you."

3. BE EXPENSIVE
"In Live With Enthusiasm, I teach, 'money is currency, and currency is energy.' This translates to the quality of what you wear. Choose jewelry that is crafted, timeless, and exquisite, like this necklace. If it’s the one thing you invest in, it will make all the difference."

4. BE UNIQUE
"Your greatest gift is that you get to be you—so why be anyone else? Be you fully, and express that individuality. A great way to do this is to wear a bright color, head to toe, like the ensemble shown below. Whatever does it for you—get it, and wear it your way."

5. MIND THE DETAILS
"Here’s the thing...if you show up in the best outfit, but your hair and nails are a mess, people will still perceive you as sloppy. So don’t neglect your foundation. Manage your hair, nails, and makeup with some of these delectable products, and enjoy the upkeep. Remember—J. Lo wasn’t built in a day."
