Cat Fancy

For years, cats have been associated with crazy cat ladies, defined as single women with hoards
of feline friends and a discomforting obsession therewith. And nothing screamed “crazy cat
lady” quite like wearing clothing that featured—you guessed it—cats.
But of course, Taylor Swift made crazy cat ladies cool, simultaneous with her emergence as the HBIC of the most enviable girl squad this millennium. At that point, many of us started to question the pejorative nature of the phrase.
Enter Stella McCartney’s AW16 collection, which didn’t simply embrace a cat motif, but featured its models cuddling with irresistibly fluffy felines. Gucci and Marc Jacobs swiftly followed suit with cat-centric resort collections, and a trend was born.
So, we've assembled our feline favorites so you can be the first to sink your claws into the trend...meow.
