The original Oversized Calf Hair Clutch - is there anything more chic than effortless luxury? As the first design ever conceived, this is the bag that started it all. Soft, durable calf hair paired with a plush velvet interior makes this piece wearable, packable, and stunning all at the same time.
*A note about sustainability:
We work with tanneries that practice modern, safe, impactful sustainability. Our Brazilian cow hides are byproduct of the meatpacking industry, and our Pirarucu fish leather is produced by a tannery that provides grocery stores and restaurants with Pirarucu meat - a common dish in South America.
Over the past decade, the exotics trade has become vastly more regulated and accountable - a far cry from where it began. We are able to produce certified documentation for every material used, tracing them back to the source and remaining in compliance with US and international trade laws.

ALLISON MITCHELL is an emerging luxury handbag label designing and producing pieces made from exotic textiles, hides, and skins. The minimalist brand offers a polished, deconstructed look that makes a statement with unique shapes in unexpected, exceptional materials and colors. The designer creates bags for women that strive to set the design pace and aesthetic rather than following it. Allison Mitchell’s handbags and accessories are wearable pieces of art made for the self-empowered woman who expresses herself freely and thoughtfully. The brand began to hit its stride after the collection’s namesake designer was awarded the prestigious RISING STAR AWARD FOR ACCESSORIES at New York-based Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Awards event in 2017. She was cited as having her “finger on the pulse of what is new and missing in the luxury leather goods market.” The collection has recently launched at New York’s iconic department store, Bergdorf Goodman. All bags are manufactured and finished by hand in New York City. Mitchell personally sources all of the skins and hides from around the world; she only works with tanneries that practice sustainability and regulation.
