Alexandre Birman was destined to create beautiful, handcrafted shoes. The Brazilian native was born into a family that has dominated the South American footwear market since the 1970s. In the spring of 2008, Birman launched his namesake Alexandre Birman collection, crafting exotic skins and bold colors into sexy, stylish shoes with a focus on luxury, femininity, and sophistication. The beautifully handcrafted shoes are made from opulent, imported raw materials and reptile skins reminiscent of Birman’s Brazilian roots.
